This paper explores the impact of microfinance on the adoption of climate-smart agriculture (CSA) technologies among smallholder farmers. Evidence indicates that access to microcredit strongly facilitates the activity of sustainable farming practices, such as drought-resistant seeds, flood control measure and effective irrigation.  By easing financial constraints, microfinance enables farmers to invest in technologies that enhance productivity while mitigating environmental risks. Findings suggest a very strong relationship between microfinance access and CSA adoption. Policy recommendations emphasize the need for targeted financial products, technical support, and capacity-building initiatives to maximize the benefits of microfinance in promoting climate-smart agriculture.
