The research examined the impact of digital transformation on business growth of small and medium enterprises in Lagos State, Nigeria. The information for the study was obtained from secondary sources of data including online journals and textbooks, and content analysis was used to analyze the data. The outcome of the research showed that digital transformation has n influence on the expansion of small and medium enterprises in Lagos State, Nigeria. Apart from this, a large number of SMEs in Lagos State have resorted to using social media sites such as Facebook and Instagram for advertising their products, on the other hand, only a few businesses are using modern technology such as cloud computing, data analysis, and ERP systems due to their high costs and lack of technical knowledge. The research revealed that digital transformation is now a significant factor in the advancement and sustainability of the progress of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Lagos State, Nigeria. In this regard, through the application and implementation of digital innovations such as e-commerce, digital payment systems, cloud computing, and social media marketing, SMEs can improve and advance their operations and customer service delivery. Digital transformation can directly contribute to the advancement and progress of small business. The study therefore recommends some measures for the realization of this potential. For one thing, SME owners should be given incentives to put their money into digital technologies like e, commerce platforms, digital payment systems, and cloud, based solutions, since tools that have been shown to help businesses operate more efficiently and access a broader market.
