Abstract: 
The integration of data analytics into construction machinery is transforming the construction industry by enhancing efficiency, safety, and decision-making.  This paper explores the theoretical foundations, practical applications, and key challenges of data analytics in the context of construction equipment. It reviews methodologies for collecting and processing equipment data, discusses predictive maintenance, utilization optimization, and safety management, and highlights the barriers to widespread adoption. The paper concludes by outlining future research directions and the potential for data-driven innovation in construction machinery
