Artificial intelligence (AI) is now used in almost every step of filmmaking, from writing scripts to editing and visual effects. In this paper, S.M. Sabarish compares AI-generated films with traditionally produced live films in terms of storytelling, visual quality, creative process, creativity and audience perception. Two example films are used: the live film Avengers: Endgame and the AI film Hell Grind. The paper is based on Uses and Gratifications Theory, which looks at entertainment, emotional and aesthetic gratification. The comparison shows two different ways of telling a story. Endgame depends on well-known actors, a trained crew and live cinematography, while Hell Grind is built from text prompts and AI-generated characters, and both still depend on human creative direction. A review of nine recent empirical studies on audience response shows that AI can widen creative options, but problems remain in character consistency, motion control and audience engagement, and AI still needs human input. These studies give mixed results on how authentic and engaging AI work feels. None of them puts a full AI film next to a live film and asks viewers to compare them. This paper fills that gap with a survey of college and film and media students chosen through convenience sampling. This research caries 23 respondents which was made by using quantitative method to acknowledge people’s view on AI film and Live film; Hell Grind and Avengers Endgame
