The study evaluates techniques such as dry stacking, geotechnical stability enhancements, real-time monitoring systems, and water reclamation methods. Innovative approaches including bioremediation and nano-filtration are analyzed for their potential to address contamination and resource recovery. The research highlights the economic and regulatory challenges of implementing these technologies while emphasizing their necessity for sustainable mining practices. Through case studies and technical reviews, the study showcases the effectiveness of these methods, offering insights into the industry's transition toward safer and environmentally responsible operations.
